The Village at Beardslee Crossing project included two phases (1A and 2B) of residential and retail apartment buildings totaling 485,098 sq ft with two levels of underground parking, ground level retail space and four levels of wood-framed residential apartments. The 304 market rate apartments include studio, one and two bedroom units ranging in size from 514 square feet to 1,189 square feet. Additional amenities include a fitness center, a club room and an outdoor patio with covered seating areas. The building skin includes a combination of CMU, Hardi-plank and metal panel.
The retail phase (2A) included the construction of 61,926 sq ft of retail space. With one level of underground parking, this phase included one to two level commercial spaces. Designed around an anchor tenant that utilizes an onsite brewery and distillery, the elevation change on the site allowed for a pedestrian friendly courtyard with two strip retail buildings serviced by one parking garage.
