Project Update: Georgetown Crossroads completes tilt

PU Georgtown tilt

Drivers traveling down E Marginal Way now have a different kind of view of Prologis’ Georgetown Crossroads construction site, as the team completed the tilt-up portion of construction this week.

The tilt included erecting 86 concrete panels, with the heaviest weighing in at 210,000lbs. The panels are 55′-6″ and reaches approximately 2/3 of the way between the 2nd and 3rd floor.

The second story truck bays make for a very unique look for those familiar to tilt-up distribution centers; as if the panels were placed upside down.

Upon completion at Georgetown Crossroads, the NessCampbell crew dismantled the Manitowoc 2250 and sent it southbound on 15 trucks to Sierra’s Hogum Bay Logistics Center site in Lacey, where tilting began December 18th.
