Employee Spotlight: John Barnes

This year marks John’s 25th year with Sierra! A Senior Project Manager, John has worked on just about every product type. His favorite would have to be Public Works projects; “everything is black and white.” A University of Washington graduate, a friend called to see if he was interested in interning at Sierra. The project in question was Tramco. “I loved the comradery (particularly Purple Thursdays). I am still here 25 years later.”

What was your favorite project, or project type? 

Public Works, everything is black and white.

If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be? 

Closer for the Mariners or lead guitarist for Led Zeppelin

What is your favorite pastime? 

Golfing very poorly and playing tennis decently
