TCO: Terrace Station Building 2

mlt2

"Sierra All,

It is with great pleasure that I announce Building 2 of Terrace Station has received TCO. This building kicked off in October 2020 just as Building 1 of Terrace Station was crossing the finish line. Building 2 of Terrace Station is made up of 168 market rate units over 14,000 SF of retail, 19,000 SF of retail parking, and 40,000 SF of below grade residential parking. As we all know, building in the current times is not an easy task and this project was no exception. We faced COVID delays, material procurement issues, and manpower shortages, but we continued to push forward and delivered a product that we are all very proud of. With 61 units already pre-leased this project is sure to be a success for our client. A few of the highlights include a 16’ tall batting cage on the roof, Terrazzo countertops imported from Italy for the common areas, 3,000 hand placed 1” hexagon tiles throughout the lobby, and one high speed chase down Van Ry Blvd that resulted in the arrest of a catalytic converter thief.

I want to say thank you to all Sierra employees including but not limited to Matt Enany, Kory Knudson, Stephen Carey, Justin Standfill, Carmen Foca, Lisa Diebler, Wayde Turner and Kevan Muzzy (who helped us out at the end), Ryan Brown, and the entire field staff for the countless hours of work.

In the words of the Mountlake Terrace Building Official, “Sierra delivers a great product”. We’re all looking forward to moving onto the third phase and another successful project."
