Retired: Dawn Searles

3 2025 McIntyre - Dawn last day 2

Hi all,

This time my retirement is real. My last day is Monday, March 24th. I know it’s a strange day to pick. My 20+ years as a Sierra family member has been amazing. When I started on September 13, 2004, there were 108 family members, and with a lot of ups and downs along the way, today there are 206. It’s been a wild ride but I’m glad I have been part of it.

Roger and Nancy, thank you for believing in me. You are both wonderful to work with and I feel blessed to have been a part of this family.

With HH2 as our new time card system I haven’t been able to send out the missing time card list with my quotes of the week and banter about football. Going back and forth with Matt F and his Rams, Brad M and his 49’s and Kris M with his Raiders (hey Kris I might become a Raider fan now that Pete is the head coach) \ud83d\ude0a

The next chapter includes traveling around the US, spending more time with grandkids, gardening, waking up when I want to and no more 4 hour round trip commutes.

One last quote: "Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision… It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results” - Andrew Carnegie

I will see you all at the State of Sierra!

GO HAWKS!!
