New Hire: Spencer Cramer

NH Cramer

Please welcome Spencer Cramer to the Project Engineer team!

Spencer grew up in Snohomish, WA and graduated from the University of Washington in Construction Management. "I began working in the construction industry 4 years ago. I would work each summer until school began again in the fall. I worked for two summers as a laborer for a home development company out of Clearview, WA. The following summer I was able to work as a Carpenter for a custom barn company out of Monroe, WA. Prior to joining Sierra, this past summer, I was able to do an internship as a project engineer. I worked for a smaller GC out of Redmond, WA. Worked entirely on a five over two mixed-use building in downtown Bellevue."

"I actually heard about Sierra from one of my friends from the Construction Management program at UW. He had interned with Sierra last summer and have nothing but goof things to say about the company."

If you weren't in construction, what would you be doing for work?

If I wasn't in construction, I would likely have a degree in business administration, as that was my second choice while in college.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

If I could have one superpower, it would be to teleport, because that way I would not have to sit in bad traffic. I dont mind driving at all but I do not like the traffic around the Seattle area.

What is your favorite vacation spot?

My favorite vacation spot in Washington is definitely Lake Chelan. I have gone at least once, every year, since I was 3 years old.

Tell us something that might surprise us about you.

Although I am 6'5", I did not play basketball growing up. I did recreationally but not on any organized team.
