New Hire: Liz Bultman

Please welcome Elizabeth "Liz" Bultman, our new Payroll Coordinator!

A Washington native, Liz was born and raised in Sammamish, WA. She graduated from UW in Public Policy. "In college, I worked in a grocery store and as a barista." After graduating, she started at a Seattle based insulation company working in payroll. "I applied for that job because it sounded interesting, and found I loved the industry and the people."

So Liz isn't new to payroll, or the construction industry. "I actually had never considered the construction industry before getting my first job in construction payroll. I live in the Woodinville area and my commute to Seattle every day for my previous job was getting to be too much so I was looking for something closer to home. I saw that Sierra was looking for a payroll person, and it seemed like the perfect fit!"

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
If something can be done in 5 minutes or less, just do it now rather than putting it off. It sounds minor, but it's amazing how much of a difference it makes when you just do small things right away rather than letting them add up and hang over your head.

Favorite places to travel, or somewhere you would like to go?
My dream vacation has always been Italy, specifically Rome. I love Roman history and architecture and I would love to see it in person someday.

Tell us something that might surprise us about you.
I've won over 30 radio contests. I never even listened to the radio until I broke my ankle in 2023 and started entering the contests while my dad was driving me to work and I quickly realized how rewarding it could be!

Do you have any pets?
I have a Chihuahua mix named Dani, and I love walking her to the park or the coffee shop by my house. She's a princess though, and hates the cold, so lately we've mostly been watching Christmas movies together on the couch!
