New Hire: Katelyn Fitzgerald

Fitzgerald-Katelyn

Please welcome Project Admin, Katelyn Fitzgerald! She grew up here in Kirkland, and has a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing & Management from University of Washington.

When asked to tell a random fact about herself, "I am a twin! My twin sister and I are considered mirror twins as we are opposites (I am left handed, she is right handed, I part my hair one way and she is the opposite, etc.) and we were born only one minute apart!"

If you weren't in construction, what would you be doing?
I love the idea of starting a bakery or possibly an event planning company as I love baking pies, planning events for my friends and meeting new people!

What is one thing you can't live without?
I could not live without my hair product…I know…such a girl…but you try to deal with big curly hair without it! I guess I would be pretty lost without my hiking gear as well!

What kind of food can't you resist?
I love Puerto Rican food!!! Plantains and interesting spices are used in many of the dishes and are delicious! If you haven’t tried it, La Isla in Redmond is a great place to try! I also love a good helping of Ben & Jerry’s – Tonight Dough Ice Cream!

What is your favorite fruit/vegetable? Least favorite?
I love most fruit/vegetables…probably Avocados, broccoli and blueberries are my favorite though! I don’t care for celery but mainly because it isn’t worth the trouble to eat it…

What brought you to Sierra?
Funny story…my mom applied for the PA position and decided it wasn’t for her, but suggested Becca look over my resume instead. I applied for the position and loved the feel of the office and what the company is all about so when I was offered the job, I took it!
