Please welcome Project Engineer, Jack Nelson!
A Puget Sound native, Jack was born and raised in Seattle. He's had a bit of experience on both sides of construction; in the field, and in management. "Before coming to work for Sierra I first worked as a laborer the summer going into my freshmen year of college. The past three summers however I worked for a general contractor in Seattle as a Project Engineer intern.I chose the construction industry because I enjoy the team aspect of day to day work as well as the ability to see something physically come to fruition from a set of 2D plans to a final finished product that will stand for years to come."
"I first heard about Sierra through a classmate at UW who interned here, he had nothing but great things to say about the team here. Then after some quick research and asking around, I was drawn to the tight knit feel of the company."
What would you be doing if you weren't in construction?
If I wasnt in construction I would try and convince one of my two brothers to give me a job or start a company with me. What that would look like or its success would be a toss up!
