Please welcome Alex Stephens, Sierra's newest Washington Project Engineer!
Alex is joining us from one of the few states that gets more rain than we do (but a million times more sun) - Hawaii! Alex grew up in Kailua-Kona, which is on Hawaii Island. After graduating from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, he became a Project Manager at Road and Highway Builders in Honolulu. Having grown up surfing, he is excited to take on Washington's many outdoor activities including hunting, snowboarding and hiking.
If you weren’t in construction, what would you be doing?
Something in the Military or IT industry.
What is one thing you couldn't live without?
Music, I can’t drive without listening to music; I’d go crazy.
Tell us something that might surprise us about you.
I'm dual nationality; my Mom is from the Netherlands.
What is your favorite type of food?
Big fan of Mexican food. Can’t resist a good ribeye.
