We made our annual appearance at the Go To Camp Boy Scout Fundraiser on September 11th at Camp Pigot near Monroe. Teams are made up of general contractors, banks, realtors, engineers etc and the funds raised aid in helping approximately 500 boys scouts go to camp each year.
This year’s team consisted of: Heather Muzzy, Aaron Brown, Sam Evans and Sam McVey.
Heather gave us a recap of the day’s events:
The event was great! No one can seem to edge out Excel Pacific Construction, I thinks they have won by a landslide for the past 5 years, in fact, I am sure they must hand pick their guys for this event. Sierra took 4th overall out of 14 teams, so we were solid since they only give points to the top 5 teams on any of the 8 events. Sierra shined on the High Ropes course, the Knot Just a Campsite challenge and the Natural Selection/Egg launch event. Unfortunately since we didn’t have our spider monkey Josh Boettner, we did not score points on the rock wall which was the only event we did not score points on; so we can blame him for not placing this year!
